Dear Fellow Lions:

The Falls Church Lions Club is a group of men and women who have in common a desire to serve.  Lions Clubs International gives our service a focus:  preservation of sight and hearing.  We contribute to Lions Clubs International efforts to prevent blindness, we recycle eyeglasses for distribution overseas, we provide eye examinations and corrective lenses for our neighbors who can't afford them and we provide free screening for vision and hearing problems at local events.

But our efforts don't stop there.  Through our fundraisers, we are able to make contributions to many community programs - like basketball and Little League - and to local non-profit organizations and charities.  And, we are always willing to put our hands to work, be it in a medical mission to southwest Virginia or at the Relay for Life.
I am honored to serve as President this year.  This is a very special group of dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking people.

I would like you to consider joining us.  If you, too, would like to "give something back", please consider coming to one of our dinner meetings to meet us.  You will be most welcome.
